Sudan Emergency Appeal: Help Keep Hope Alive

Sudan is facing the deadliest humanitarian crisis on Earth. A vicious civil war has now killed over 150,000 people and created the biggest refugee crisis on the planet. Healthcare is collapsing, children are dying of hunger, and world governments are doing almost nothing.Yet amid the horror and heartbreak, something beautiful is happening. Across the country, ordinary citizens are pulling together, running hundreds of community kitchens and clinics. Offering food, medicine and shelter, these Emergency Response Rooms have become a lifeline for countless families escaping extreme violence and famine. They're so effective, they were nominated for a Nobel Peace Prize.But now even these fragile lifelines are unravelling. With little support from governments or aid agencies, community kitchens are running out of supplies, and many have been forced to close.This is an emergency appeal for donations.Together, we can help to keep these Emergency Response Rooms open, rushing food and medicine to families who have nothing left. And we won’t stop there -- we'll also shine a massive media spotlight onto the suffering in Sudan, and accelerate our global campaign for action.Every single donation will help keep hope alive in Sudan. These ancient pollinators are at risk — but thanks to the tireless efforts of a brave Peruvian conservation leader, the tide could soon turn in their favour: Peru may grant them legal rights, protecting these bees and their habitats from deforestation and pesticide use. If it does, the country will set a global precedent that can inspire nations across the world to follow suit. Right now, indigenous activists are ramping up pressure for national lawmakers to approve this game changer for bees — and we can help! Let’s rally behind them with a major global call, encouraging Peru’s leaders to take this bold action for nature. We need to break it up to stop its monopoly once and for all.____________________ The EU just fined Google for monopolising the ad market, sucking revenue from independent journalism so it could add to its billions. Less money means fewer reporters uncovering the truth – and more disinformation. We all lose, including our democracies. In a few weeks, Europe faces a defining test: it could break Google's monopoly once and for all. But every time Brussels enforces its own laws, Trump threatens tariffs to protect his Big Tech buddies, testing how hard he can push Europe to kneel. The question is simple: will EU leaders stand tall for our democracy, or bow to Trump and Silicon Valley? A breakup would prove Europe writes its own rules, not Trump’s America or billionaires in California. It would defend our freedom, our press, and our sovereignty.
